Master Damião
Master Damião, a desciple of Master Bimba organized the first trips of Master Bimba to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, for Capoeira Exhibitions. A tireless fighter, he is recognized as one of the most instrumental people in the growth of Capoeira.

As one of the first capoeiristas in São Paulo, he taught at the studio of the famous trainer Kid Jofre and in the 70's working with Master Suassuna, he brought Capoeira to the entire Valley of Paraíba where he lives. He is also author of a wonderful book about our art.
