Master Camisa
Master Camisa, was born in 1956 in Jacobina, Bahia. He began capoeira in the 1960's and in later Salvador, he participated in the rodas of Waldemar and Traíra. In 1970, he became a student of Mestre Bimba.

In 1972, Master Camisa moved to Rio de Janeiro and joined the Senzala Capoeira Group. In 1988, he founded The Brazilian Associateion of Support and Involvement with Capoeira, the Abadá Capoeira Group one of the largest and most wide-spread group in the world.
