Master Brasília
Mestre Brasília began capoeira as a student and dedicated friend of Master Canjiquinha. He is also a co-founder of the Cordao de Ouro Group and one of the capoeira pioneers to the Brailian metropolis of São Paulo. He practiced capoeira in the old CMTC with Master Melo and in the studio of Master Zé de Freitas.

Mestre Brasília together with Master Suassuna created the Cordão de Ouro Group, which has since become a pilar of the capoeira community in São Paulo. He is Cultural Vice President of the Federation of Capoeira in the state of São Paulo, associated with with Brazilian Confederation of Capoeira and the International Federation of Capoeira, and a member of the Superior Councilof Masters, also in São Paulo.
